Challenge
Vacation in Livigno, a break from the hustle and bustle, a pause which enables me to get some perspective. - Please, define perspective.
It is ridiculously rewarding to challenge yourself. You may feel nervous at the beginning, you may think that you are climbing Mount Everest and that you are more likely to fall than taking the next step upwards. Don’t fool yourself! Your combined effort, all those small steps will eventually take you to the summit.
You could challenge yourself in a zillions of ways. For instance, you have received instructions for a new writing assignment in school. - Oh no, yet another text to write, you have an uninspiring feeling that you have done this before. There are two completely different options. You could turn on your autopilot, just writing something you have done before. You mainly do it for your teacher not for you. Or you could create something new, something you haven’t done before. You don’t write this text for your teacher you write it for your own sake and the difference is staggering! Sure it may take more time, sure there may be times when you are tearing your hair when you can’t find the right words or express what you are thinking. But the final result is way more gratifying as you have experienced something new and created a unique piece that you could be proud of.
I will today turn this challenge perspective into practice, it is time to conquer the slopes and try off-piste for the first time!
